This is a must do for Arizona visitors, starting with pick up from your hotel in our Flagship H2 Hummer, (fitted with Hi-lift suspension, exterior roll cage and air conditioning).
1st Stop. Montezuma Castle (built around 700 years ago by the Sinaquas Indians) This spectacular 20 room, 5 storey structure is nestled into a recess in the limestone cliffs.
2nd Stop. A short break to peruse the shops and grab a bite to eat at Tlaquepague Arts & Craft village, fashioned after a traditional Mexican village. A Sedona landmark since 1970
3rd Stop. Schnebly Hill Road. This historic road started it's humble beginning around 1896 when a local set out to cast a shorter route from Sedona to Flagstaff. Today Schnebly Hill Road remains mostly a rugged, primitive “road” but has some of the most incredible, awe inspiring scenery and views of the surrounding Mogollon Rim country. Schnebly Hill Vista at 6000 ft overlooks the Verde Valley, Sedona and Oak Creek and the minerial rich Mingus Mtns.

Now available for groups of 6 or more, our famous Lil Dog Desert Picnic is the perfect addition to either our H1 or H2
Hummer adventures. A stop at our breathtaking viewpoint for a picnic lunch of a delicious BBQ sandwich, with a side of creamy coleslaw and tasty potato salad, while you relax on a blanket and take in the views. Bottled water & soda supplied (beer or wine available at additional cost).
For a more substantial meal we also offer our All American Feast available for groups of 8 or more… a true feast of St Louis style spareribs, BBQ chicken, Texas Beef Brisket or Georgia Chopped pork, Coleslaw, Cowboy Beans, Corn on the Cob and Corn Muffins. |
A visit to Arizona’s stunning sonoran desert without encountering it’s indigenous wildlife would be unfortunate. Depending upon the time of year, wildlife tours offer a truly remarkable adventure, combining desert 4 wheeling, with stops along the way to forage for some of the infamous desert critters. This one of a kind adventure does require some extra effort, like an EARLY morning rise or the less stressful sunset.
